Dr. David A. DelPrincipe
Dr. DelPrincipe was born and raised in Lorain, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University and continued his education at the Illinois College of Optometry where he received a Bachelor of Science degree along with his Doctor of Optometry Degree. Dr. DelPrincipe did extensive externships at various hospitals and health centers in Chicago. He was Treasurer for the Council on Ethics and a member of the Sports Vision Association. Dr. DelPrincipe practiced with a large Cleveland eye care group for several years before joining Family Eye Care Associates in Amherst, Ohio. Dr. DelPrincipe also assumed the practice of Dr. Charles A. Norris in January of 2008, and created what is now North Coast Eye Care, with partners Dr. Beth Yoder and Dr. Tom Kelly. He is certified by the International Association of Boards of Examiners in Optometry in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease, and holds membership in The Ohio Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Beth Yoder
Dr. Beth Yoder assumed the practice of Dr. Charles Norris in January of 2008, along with her partners, Dr. David DelPrincipe and Dr. Tom Kelly, and created North Coast Eye Care. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry Degrees. She interned exclusively with Cleveland’s Veteran’s Hospital. After graduation, she broadened her experience by becoming a staff member of the Cleveland Clinic Health System. She is also certified by the International Association of Boards of Examiners in Optometry in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. Dr. Yoder is an active member in the Ohio and American Optometric Associations.
Dr. Tom Kelly
Dr. Tom Kelly, a native of North Olmsted, Ohio, graduated from Kent State University and taught in the Elyria School System for several years. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1983. He has developed an optometric practice in Bay Village, and has worked closely with several local eye surgeons. Dr. Kelly became associated with North Coast Eye Care in 2008. Dr. Kelly has advanced training in pediatric vision problems and an interest in complex contact lens evaluations. Dr. Kelly has been a member of the Ohio Optometric Association and American Optometric Association for over 25 years.
Dr. Andrea L. Fisher
Dr. Andrea Fisher joined our practice in October 2009 and completed her undergraduate degree in microbiology at Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. Dr. Fisher obtained her Doctorate of Optometry in May 2009 from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. She has a special interest in pediatric and infant examinations, low vision/vision rehabilitation, contact lenses and medical eye conditions. Her externship training includes VA Northern Indiana Health Care System in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Indian Health Services in Pawnee, Oklahoma and Lakeshore Eyecare in Norton Shores, Michigan. She is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Ohio Optometric Association (OOA). Dr. Fisher is a member of the contact lens section of the AOA and is an InfantSEE provider. Dr. Fisher particularly enjoys aviation vision and custom designing eyewear for vocational and occupational needs.
In 2007, Dr. Fisher traveled to Guyana, South America with the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists (FCO) on a medical eye mission, providing eyecare and eyeglasses to over 1000 residents of Overwinning, Guyana. In 2008, Dr. Fisher traveled to Valmiera, Latvia with Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity (VOSH), providing eyecare, cataract referrals and eyeglasses to over 900 residents in surrounding areas of Valmiera.
In her free time Dr. Fisher enjoys gardening and horticulture, snow skiing, and scuba diving. She resides in Lorain and sees patients in Amherst, Vermilion, and our newer Avon office.
