Through long-standing partnerships with local schools, clinics, and community health organizations, we work to ensure that vision care is never out of reach, no matter someone’s background, income, or insurance status.
Lorain Free Clinic
The Lorain Free Clinic is a volunteer-driven healthcare network that provides essential medical services to uninsured and underserved individuals across Lorain County.
Our eye doctors donate their time and expertise to ensure that patients who may not have vision insurance or regular access to care still receive comprehensive eye exams and treatment. From detecting early signs of eye disease to provide urgent care for vision-threatening conditions, we’re honored to support a clinic that puts people first.
Lorain City Schools Vision Partnership
Clear vision is essential for learning, but too often, students struggle in the classroom simply because they can’t see the board. That’s why North Coast Eye Care partners directly with Lorain City Schools to help identify and support students who need vision care but face financial or access barriers.
Through this partnership:
- School staff and nurses flag students who may have undiagnosed vision problems.
- Those students are brought to our office for full eye exams.
- If glasses are needed, we provide them at no cost to the family.
By stepping in early, we help students succeed in school, stay engaged in learning, and gain confidence knowing they can finally see clearly.
Lorain County Health & Dentistry Collaboration
Access to vision care shouldn't depend on zip code or income, and through our partnership with Lorain County Health & Dentistry, we're helping to close that gap.
This collaboration connects North Coast Eye Care with a wide network of patients who might otherwise go without regular eye exams, glasses, or treatment. By working together, we ensure that low-income individuals and families in Lorain County can receive professional eye care.
